INTRODUCTION

In Key Stage 4, students at MAHSA International School, enter their last stage in compulsory education and, over these two years, they are prepared for the examinations of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). An in-depth approach is taken in each subjects studied. Some of them are compulsory and decisions must be made as to which optional subjects are to be taken.

The Secondary School gives the student a supportive, yet challenging learning environment. A highly qualified and professional staff support students in acquiring life-long skills and prepares them for the internationally recognised IGCSE and ‘A’ level programmes through exciting, application-based classroom teaching and learning.

MISKL is well prepared to cater to the academic and social needs of internationally mobile students and encourages all students to constantly challenge themselves. Our teachers nurture students who are intellectually curious, creative, respectful, caring and discerning young adults, conscious of their responsibility to the community and their environment.

Students will sit for their International GCSE examination at the end of Year 11. This exam is recognised throughout the world.
